Bill Voirol – President
Bill Voirol was a young entrepreneur. At the age of eleven, he went door to door to solicit jobs painting, shoveling snow, mowing grass, and finding used items to buy and resell. In his 20’s, while working a full time factory job, he bought several homes to restore and resell. Bill did such an impressive job with those projects that people suggested he should do that full time.
In 1995, he developed Tri-County Roofing & Home Improvement as a part time home improvement venture. He had a vision of not only becoming his own boss someday, but also of setting the standard of excellence for companies of this type in Northwest Ohio. Within two years, Tri-County grew into a full time business with several employees. Bill hired skilled craftsmen that specialized in the expanded services he offered to ensure the work they completed for clients was of the highest quality. His belief was if you take care of the customer, everything else will take care of itself. After more than twenty years in business, that philosophy has continually proven to be true.
Bill has taken his role as business owner to a higher level by joining a national network of building and home improvement professionals that meet several times a year for ongoing education about their field of work. Using consultants, ongoing education classes, and research, Tri-County has been the innovative leader in our area with the best in product, technique, and services for its clients. The company currently employs fifteen to twenty people and has been voted Best in the Region in the Crescent News contest for several years. What began as a small scale company that worked in three counties has grown to providing services all over Northwest Ohio. A lifetime local resident, Bill enjoys hunting, kayaking, billiards, the outdoors and music. Most days, in the office or on the job, you will find his chocolate lab, Ginger, by his side as she loves to “go to work”. Bill supervises the daily operations of the business and estimates jobs, and Ginger serves the company as customer relations manager and the boss’s navigator.
